Default Adrian Diaconu vs. Rico Hoye - WBC Eliminator, who you picking? (*Full Fight*)

Thought I get this thread started as this Wednesdays main event on ESPN is surely to be a thriller sooo I hope.
Both fighters are top contenders and the winner moves on to figh my bwoy! BCD If memory serves me right this fight was suposse to happen sometime back but it was rescheduled I think....

Anyway.... I like what I've seen from Diaconu heavy hands but fights too flat footed at times. Hoye I haven't seen much of him but hes up on the skill dept. a litte more schooled then Diaconu.

So who you picking for this fight?

I didn't find any Hoye videos on YouTube but I did find some on Diaconu.

I dunno. I've never seen the Adrian guy and its been sooooooooo long since I seen Hoye fight. Alls I know is that Montell Griffin should have gotten the win over Hoye as should Badi Ajamu. Least thats how I remember it. Since then I guess Hoye has improved and knocked a couple good fighters out. I dunno...its late...this is a new topic...figured I'd add my two cents or less.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Hoye lacks basic fundemental skills , he was dominaited by Clinton Woods .

Did you see that fight Cutme? Woods dominated him from start to finish he was really vulnerable under pressure and can't fight backing up .

I'm banking on the fact that Hoye has learned something in the last 2 years.
Hoye UD (definately without my usual confidence though)

Few big bangers develop over time without having at least one hardone on the way back to test himself and get over his demons.

instead Hoye has only fought ( who the ) Sam Hill and Derek Whitley both marking times fights .
My betting is he went back to the gym hit the bag a few times bashed up a few sparring partners and told himself it was just a bad night .

I like the guy he took his defeat with good grace so i wish him all the best .

You could definately be right. That's why I'm not betting real money on this one.

Damn, I was VERY impressed by his stoppage of Rico Hoye. The Light Heavyeights have a new star! Did anyone else see it??

    What was he talking about?
    The fight was good.
It was a great tactical fight.
How can he say he was not moved by the fight?

Rico Hoye sounds like the name of a damn pornstar or a pimp but Diaconu made Rico a fucking ho dude. Very nice, looking forward to seeing more of the dude.

I didn't see the thread in time to make my voice heard but I was behind Diaconu. I figured he would stretch Hoye out in under 10.5 and he did.

Earned myself $60,000 in the sportsbook.

I'm usually flushing my funds down the crapper so this feels wonderful

I really liked the tribute ESPN did on Diego...

I just finished uploading this Diego 'Chico' Corrales video that was done by ESPN in memory of Diego...

    Enjoy!!!
