Blatantly Jlc- chico 1.. He just had great heart and ring smarts.. I loved it.. Going down twice..
Spat the mouthpeice..It was cheeky as they come but smart to give him the time to recoup..
And maybe thats what helped him muster that stoppage!.. A fight to remembered always!

And although i know many wont mention it..But for me the clottey fight..
Say what you want about corrales and that he was in against a great fighter in clottey..
Didnt look strong at welter..Had jumped two weight classes and still wouldnt take a tune up fight..
He had a great will to fight the best..And when the fight was maybe even quarter of the way in..
It was quite clear that clottey had chico's number.. and chico just kept fighting and made it an exciting fight..Fought on the inside.. and even with a suspect chin at a different weight stayed in the game to last to the final bell.. and didnt disapoint the fans!!

Clottey one is an excellent mention. He could've easily threw it in early into the fight when Clottey immediately took control.
But Chico hung in there to the very end.
And not just hung in there to survive, but banged away and laid it all out there. I mean it's almost cliche to say Chico has heart. But how else can you describe it?

Another smaller moment that doesn't often go mentioned is during the PBF fight.
He went back into his corner after one of the midrounds and his corner was pleading with him to throw more. And he said back while sounding close to tears something like, "I'm telling you, I'm giving you everything I got".
I think I really felt for him personally the most at that point.
I mean i love Floyd and I love when he dominates, but my heart went out to Chico at that moment.

A true warrior who gave so much to the sport. It's so sad to be taken away after everything he's given us. I feel like I owe him something and never got the chance to repay him. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way.
