I have a theory: the Dharma have all the people on the plane on machines and doing mind experiments on them all. The prefect example of this is John coming face to face with his dad and having to kill him: Ben was his bad side,he had his own good side and his dad was the fear he was trying to fight. They ALLLLLL have fears:Jack needs to fix things,his dad,James had Sawyer,Kate had that policeman and the thought of her mother disliking her etc etc. Man that's an awesome theory!! And they are not in hell although it sounds cool!
