To me bikes are dangerous.
I almost hit one on the freeway a few years ago. I consider myself a decent safe driver and very alert. This guy came out of no where flying like a bat out of hell just as I was about to cross over to the right lane. I was so thankfull that I did not hit him but it was so damn close. That is another experience I will never forget.
Bikes are more dangerous then some cars imo.

I've never controlled a bike only been on the back and that was when I was young, and most everyone that I know thats had a bike has gotten in some sort of accident

So I wouldn't do it unless they created a bike with some sort of all around protection and not just a small windowscreen in front(if even that) some sort of safer way. An air bag.. anything!!!!
