Of all the fighters of recent years, Whitaker is definitely the one guy who had his record most affected by controversial/weird endings.

He officially had 4 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no contest.

The no-contest was a fight he won, but it was changed to a NC after his drug test came up positive for cocaine.

Everyone knows his 1 draw against Chavez was a joke and was a clear victory.

Of the 4 losses:
the Ramirez loss is universally considered one of the worst decisions ever.
the loss to DLH is highly questionable. It's not a robbery like the Ramirez or Chavez decisions, because it was a close fight and tough to score, but Whitaker easily could have won, especially considering that he was the reigning champ.
in his last fight against Bojourquez, he broke his clavicle in round 2 or 3, fought an entire round one-handed with it broken, and then the doctor stopped the fight.

The ONLY clear loss that Whitaker ever had was against Tito, when Pernell was a 35 year old drug addict who hadn't fought in 20 months and was just out of rehab.

He could have been 44-0 when he fought Trinidad.

P.S....... I'm sure someone will bring up Pernell's first fight with Wilfredo Rivera. I thought it was a very close fight that could have gone either way, but I had Pernell edging it by a point.
