Trinidad is known for doing those type of things, fouling when he's faced with adversity. His elbows against Hopkins, the sort of low blow against right the LOW BLOWS against Vargas and a few others. Trinidad was known for if he was in a rough time to resort to low blows.

But everybody loves Trinidad
Well I agree that people need to get consistent. I didn't like this low blow, but I am also against any other intentional low blows.

I'm trying to think about men who are known to be upstanding, fine fighters. I could be wrong, but I don't recall Ali ever throwing a low blow, or Foreman ever throwing one... Frazier. I don't recall Leonard or Duran exchanging intentional low blows. These men were in frustrating and heated situations and didn't result to these tactics. I see that as a part of their character. I also see intentional fouls as part of one's character.

So yeah, I think people need to be consistent. If you don't have a problem with this intentional foul, then don't say you have a problem with others. And vice versa... you hate this one, hate all other intentionals.
