Unless MAB and JMM are rematching, Pac should fight JMM. If Pac don't plan on fighting JMM, he should go to lightweight. I'd like to see him fight Cassamyoer.

Big monies should be a JMM fight. Time is on the side of Pacman being the younger of the two. If he wins he earns a title and big monies. Why waste the little time he has with Valero (although Valero is exciting, what can he bring to the table - no title, less money). Smart money is a Pacman-JMM fight. It could solidify a HOF status for both fighters as well.
Edwin Valero is the current WBA Super Featherweight champ.

But in my opinion Pac-JMM should be the best match. The draw should be settled once and for all.

Thanks for the correction . What is the WBA by the way? hehe joke

Thanks to for agreeing with me that a Pac-JMM fight is the best fight for both.
Your welcome. WBA is a legit title too but I'd rather see Pac-JMM beacuse its more of a greater match-up. They both posses better resume against world class oppositions than Valero. WBC is on the line and for sure this will make one legendary fight. GBP and Top Rank should make this happen or else it would be too late! dam.

I agree JMM vs. Pac is a better fight. I like Valero and can see him going far. He could probably fight someone like Juarez (although he's dropped down to Featherweight) in what I would see as a legit challenge for both men to step up to the real big time.

its funny how there use to be so many people talking about how valero would beat pac, but now for some reason those oppinions have vanish.

Pacman by knock out 5th round, then hopefully we can move on to a Real fight between pac and jmm the rematch.

Valero doesn't move his head that much. Great target for Pac.

I think Valero can hurt Pac and it will be interesting if turns into a macho man contest because if they try to outgun eachother early on Valero has a great chance. Could be similar to Cotto vs Torres.....hope so anyway because that was a great fight.

yea cotto vs torres was great, i like both fighters now, but during that fight i didn't really know who torres was but then after a few rounds into the fight i was rooting for torres. It was a good fight i hope torres boxing career rises up like cottos and then they can rematch when both are big stars.

intriguing, both are devastating punchers and pressure fighters but it all comes down to who has the highest probability of connecting those power shots first that will make one or the other feel wasted at one point or another?.. i just think manny has a higher probability of landing it first due to his superior speed and experience and if the fight would extend at later rounds i would still favor pacmans tested endurance. All in all ill give valero a 30% chance of beating manny just in case he got the luck of landing his own devastating bombs before manny can do to him.

I'm one of Valero's biggest fans, and like I said, right now,he would be too raw and green to fight Manny but he WOULD hurt MannyI'd almost guarantee you that. Pac would win though. In the future, may be a year on from now,if Valero fights to his potential,he'd beat Manny imo or it would at least be closer than it would be now for sure.

And as for Valero not beating any dencet opponents,Mosquera was a badass tough tough fighter. In his backyeard. And Valeros last opponent,Honmo, beat Jimrez Jaca who recently fought JMM. Jaca impressed so much v JMM that he got a contract with Golden Boy! Valero's level of opposition is improving for sure.

hahaha just this quick reply ..............................ladwaba jolio who ? My point was that Valero has earned every right to fight now as Pac had for his 1st great big opportunity ...... Also for more info see Gamos post below it is well written.
