The only time I've ever seen Zab truly focused on nothing but the man in front of him was when he rematched spinks. Cotto is always focused on his opponent, I'm willing to bet that he doesn't think about anything else once a fight date has been set. And no one should rule out a repeat of the Tsyu fight. Cotto definitely has the power for that. However Zab does have speed on his side, it's makes for an extremely interesting fight.
Cotto was down once in that fight and he was pulled down.
Cotto at the end of the fight accepted it as a knock down while he was talking to Larry Merchant. He said he went to war to give the fans a show.
It was a great show indeed. 6 out of 7 rounds were 10-8 rounds. You can't find much more action in a fight than that. That fight was the bomb.
Evangelista Cotto was pissed, he kept telling Miguel to stop trading but Cotto went right on trading like he was on Wall Street.
