Julio put him down twice within the last 30 seconds and his opponent didn't get up the second time. I know you can't tell much but his opponent had very fast hands and he slipped punches very well. It was the uppercut on the inside that knocked him down the first time. The second time Julio had Lucero on the ropes, and Julio's jab makes that powerful right hand SO much better. He didn't lead with it one single time and he used to lead with it 10 times a round before.
He's been working with Whitaker and Breland and it shows, the jab looks very good on him. That was a huge improvement after what I think was a lackluster outing his last time out. He showed no improvement, he showed lots tonight.
