It did, no doubt about that. Matter of fact, I was pretty shocked when I saw the full page Sports Illustrated cover on the upcoming Oscar-Floyd fight a week before the fight. Happy, but shocked. As with other media, SI has a lot of clout. If they decided to put the upcoming fight on the front cover, all the better for us boxing fans. The fight was good. Not the best fight I've ever seen, but good. If in some way, this makes boxing more popular, fantastic.Originally Posted by wacko3205

For pure boxing action, I'm kinda hoping the Pavlik-Miranda and Cotto-Judah fights are much more entertaining, tho.
