I was pretty pleased with the reaction that he brought out of Taylor. If I aint mistaken...won't the winner of Miranda vs Pavlik have the right to face Taylor? Mandatory maybe?

Either way...it should be a nice cracker of a match IF it comes off.

WHy is there a ballet for Pavlik by shocking Tko. Its not too shocking if that is going to happen. Pavlik has the staiter hands. Straiter hands do find there mark. Have any of you guys ever really boxed?

I must say I LOVED Taylor's tirade. He's always the professional, and it's nice to see some fire from these gentlemen types just to let you know it is there. It reminds me of Andre Ward's fight against Julio Jean. Jean was wild coming forward the whole night, leading with his head. Finally at the beginning of the third, he caught Ward with a headbutt that made him bleed and Ward turned to the ref to complain. The ref didn't do anything, so Ward turned back to Jean, Jean smiled at him and Ward yelled "Fuck You" and hit him with a big straight left and ended up stopping the fight later that round.

I hope to see the same fire that we got in the press conference in the ring. How great would a first or second round KO be?

I like Miranda by TKO in a hard fought bout.

I like Taylor by TKO as well. I will say this, if Taylor can't TKO Spinks (who was TKO'd by Zab at 147), then there are serious questions about Jermain's offensive game.

Taylor needs to come out, establish his jab, and back Spinks up. If he spends the whole night backing up and winging power shots (like he did against Ouma) then I will be very disappointed.

Nothing makes me angrier than a fighter with a great jab who refuses to use it, and that's what Taylor did in his last fight. He needs to make a statement in this fight, and it all starts with an authoritative jab.

I said Taylor by TKO and Miranda as well, in a much more exciting fight...the undercard actually could be switched with the main event and true boxing fans would not question it at all i dont think. Like u said, Jermaine needs to look impressive as his last three bouts were against super tough opposition (so give him his props) but were not defining fights. He did not dominate by any means and needs a fight like this to put a stamp on his offensive abilities, which i think really have the opportunity to shine in Jermaine Taylor if he allows them too...and like u said the key to that is getting that jab going. The jab is Taylor's (and most boxers') most important weapon and should be used as the bread and butter to that big right...especially now that he is training under Steward who likes to use that doubling jab, walk-circle right, and then throw the right cross. Wladimir Klitschko has used this technique very well as a heavyweight and I think it can be employed even more effectively by Jermaine Taylor if he remembers to USE THE JAB!

Gotta give it to Spinks if he somehow pulls it off...u never know...those Spinks boys can just fight! And like Wacko said...if that happens you gotta think PBF is gonna start thinking middleweight title and I am willing to bet he can take if from Spinks if he wins tonight although it might not make for a very exciting fight!

But whatever happens, and wherever u are watchin from tonight, I hope you have a great evening of boxing and entertainment. As for me I am already warming up by watching ESPN Classic...watchin Pernell Whitaker put on one of his great performances...i love that "behind the back" left hand he used to like to sneak in whenever he threw a headlock on an opponent...only 1 person has moves like that!

Anyhow...not long till fight time now, the show starts in little less than four hours now, and while I know I should get some sleep, the reality is I'll be putting some really hard work into further destroying my liver.
