All he's done, when he looked good, was knock down unknowns with his jab and finish off nobodies.

Even with Joppy he didn't look so good. Joppy was on his bicycle, yet old man Hopkins destroyed Joppy.
Eh... Maybe that was a fluke. Then he fights Hopkins, Without Manny Steward, and he doesn't look so good either.
He wins, but looks tense, hardly ever keeps a busy performance, and wins a controversial decision.
... And that's been the story since.
