I think Taylor won the first two Hopkins fights and drew with Winky and beat Spinks. Actually it happened how it happened. I thought he could have beat Winky but that was a close fight. But I go with the judges. People saying Spinks won last night is what I am not really understanding. I can see why the other fights you question since they were close, but Spinks fought a good fight to land fast punches, but did not fight to win. All it takes nowadays to win is to survive to the end of the fight and land a few punches in each round? Champions do not come that easy. You have to judge who is landing the effective punches and the better punches. If neither guy is punching much, you have to judge who landed more.. And Taylor was sharper with his counters. Clearly. There shouldn't be a question of who won, just of why Taylor didn't punch much. I just think with Spinks style and speed, Taylor didn't want to make a mistake. Fact is Spinks probably hit harder than it seemed or Taylor would have thrown more punches. But Taylor won clearly.
