How could Flaherty have it 117-111 for Spinks?

before the fight i thought if it went to the cards spinks would win but get robbed. and thats what happened. but i thought it would not have lasted and was shocked at how frustrated taylor was by the 7th.

i feel if taylor put out more jabs and pressed the fight he would have stopped corey. but then again its very hard when u fight some one like spinks who does not let you get set to throw. he was looking for openings.

it was even funnier to see how frustrated Manny was

He was like "How is this man backing you up!? He has no power come on man!!"

And you know, if Manny felt Taylor was winning he wouldn't have told him "You need this round! You need to knock him out!" or something like that.


You know just thinking about it, even though the last round was even or for Spinks(or close for Taylor if you look at it that way) if that 12th round had gone to Spinks the fight would have been a draw(by the JUDGES scorecards) but I bet Taylor won the 12 on all three..

Exactly. In the 12th, Taylor threw enough and was physical enough to keep spinks from landing his jab and potshotting him. Then Spinks pure ran for the last 30 seconds. On my card, that cost him a draw. Shame on JT for this lazy ass performance.
