i feel if taylor put out more jabs and pressed the fight he would have stopped corey. but then again its very hard when u fight some one like spinks who does not let you get set to throw. he was looking for openings.

it was even funnier to see how frustrated Manny was

He was like "How is this man backing you up!? He has no power come on man!!"

And you know, if Manny felt Taylor was winning he wouldn't have told him "You need this round! You need to knock him out!" or something like that.

You know just thinking about it, even though the last round was even or for Spinks(or close for Taylor if you look at it that way) if that 12th round had gone to Spinks the fight would have been a draw(by the JUDGES scorecards) but I bet Taylor won the 12 on all three..

ONCE AGAIN it comes down to the 12th for Taylor.
taylor won the 12th on 2 of 3, and if he would have won it on the third it would have been a majority draw

I was giving Taylor rounds just on aggression, because he was the only one going forward, Spinks would go forward to punch then right back on his heels. The out put was low on both sides...there were a few close rounds but, I never had the feeling Taylor was hurt. Spinks looked a little wobbled a few times. I was real close but Taylor eeeked it on power shots, Spinks landed a total of 84 punches and Taylor was around 120 I think.....total snoozer if you ask me.

I have no idea either at first I thougth they said 107-111 for spinks i was like huh thats not mathmatically possible and then later on said it was 117-111 for spinks and then i was more like huh thats even more impossible.

I love how Taylor did less, much less than Ricardo Mayorga or Roman Karmazin against Spinks, and yet HBO explains how he clearly won the fight and how much of a runner Cory Spinks is. Of course Spinks runs, thats what he fukin does. I do not think he deserved to win the MW belt from Taylor for this "fight" if you even wanna call it that. BUT I do find it interesting how Taylor did not pursue Spinks, hit him as much, or push the fight nearly as much as either my boy Mayorga or Karmazin and yet they lost against Spinks. Funny how HBO can spin things when its their boy fightin Spinks isn't it? Suddenly Spinks isn't a "stylist" or a "pure boxer" any more, he's a RUNNER.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
