ICB...how would you rank a fighter when compiling a list?

Not quite sure how...but generally you line up the combatants that are most active & then you rank them on their records, opposition, & last completed bouts.

I never said that I agreed with the place that they have the man...nor did I say that I liked him...but it is laughable that Spinks is in the number three spot & Mora is trailing behind him.

For some reason...many people love LOVE LOVE to read more into what is posted than by what is actually said.

Mora's undefeated & has performed quite imperssively during his outtings. As for what happened regarding him being dropped...he got up to win...correct?

Odd that many boxing fans will applaude other fighters that they favor for getting up & gutting out a win when it suits their fancy.

Like Mora or not...& I fwockin don't...he did get up to win...& deserves the credit.

I don't think Spinks should be 3 i agreed with you on that but Mora at number 10 ?? he hasn't fought since August yes he got up and won from being kd but still not impressive to be dropped by a nobody and since that has fought a guy with 25-3 he is nowhere near top 10 imo.

No thats not what i mean im just giving you an example level of opponents he has faced all bums his best win is agaisnt Manfredo and thats not saying whole lot about Mora and he certainly shouldn't be anywhere near top 10.

They're formula is messed up. It was made to predict who would win a fight and placing better fighters above the ones they'd supposedly beat. This formula has been changed several times in the last years because of situations like this. The last time it had to be changed because after alonzo butler beat a guy by some freakishly wide margin they shot him up to the top 8. They have it based on actual judges scores so the more points a judge gave a guy the more it effects his rating. The SD shot spinks up because essentially they're giving him credit with half beating Taylor.

You can't make legitimate boxing ratings. It's nearly impossible. Hell they had ezzard charles at #1 all time because he beat louis and had some run ins with marciano. At that point, i think they had level of competition considered heavily but it was still forwned upon.

In a nearly 7 year professional career Mora has only fought 19 times. Only two of those 19 fights have been 10 rounds and none have been 12. His 2 opponents in those 10 round fights aren't even in the vicinity of Top 50 fighters, much less Top 20. He hasn't had any championship fights. Nothing Mora has done qualifies him to be a Top 10 candidate, simple as that. Just beating people isn't enough or shouldn't be enough, you have to beat the right people or should I say true competition.

As far as Cory Spinks goes, he should be ranked at lt. middlweight as opposed to middleweight seeing as how he only came up for this one fight.
