Bernard Hopkins
The first time through, I called it a draw. I actually did a RBR with an updated score and felt a draw was in order and that the 12th round was very close. Upon rewatching, I think I got caught up in the moment of the 12th being the only real exciting round of the fight and scored it for Hopkins the second time around. It was a close fight though, so I can see it going either way. Hopkins shot himself in the foot by not putting his foot on the gas pedal.
Jermain Taylor
Jermain's best performance in my opinion. I had him winning 115-113, he won the close rounds which is something he didn't do in their first fight and he won the latter rounds too. Taylor won that fight. Close but clear imo.
Winky Wright
Now this is the gift of Taylor's life. No way in hell did Taylor win that fight, and only in some ways do I feel he deserved a draw. I thought Winky won 7 rounds without question at all, and I had him winning the 12th aswell. I've never been more discusted with boxing then I was on the night of this fight. The night is a story in itself, but my boy got robbed. He should be middleweight champion of the world right now. I've written about 100 pages on this one, I think it's best we leave it at that. Credit to Jermain for taking this fight, but he did not win nor draw anywhere but the judges scorecards. Taylor fought very well though, and the fight when punch by punch how I expected it too. But that wasn't enough for him to keep his title imo.
Haven't seen the Spinks fight.
