Graham was #1 contender to Hearns at 154 and Hagler at 160.

Ninth one down here: http://www.highbeam.com/Search.aspx?...&embargo=False

HBO were prepared to stage it at Wembley Stadium and saw a series of Nunn-Benn fights to take over boxing, they felt that a simple highlight reel of Benn's KO's would be enough to sell the fight straight off!
Hagler had massive fights at Middleweight Hearns Leonard Mugabi and he wouldn't have moved down and Mccallum wasn't moving up so no actually it couldn't have happened Hearns moved up to fight a career defining fight against Hagler i know what one i would choose a prospect or career defining fight with Hagler umm hard choice and why would Hagler bother with prospect who hadn't beaten anyone great at that point and was only well known in Uk he had fights with Mugabi Hearns and Leonard he isn't going to bother wasting time with prospect when he was going to retire soon.

Nunn wanted big fights yes Benn had good winning streak but all his kos were against domestic guys and he got koed by at that time lighty regarded Watson after that bad loss to Watson i don't think Nunn would of been interested.
