Seriously, I do think that many TV and radio commentators (plus newspapers) and therefore fans like us overuse the word 'great'.
We forget what true greatness looks like as we are not exposed to it every day, when we call a world class performer or journeyman 'great' or throwing a 'great' punch it cheapens Marcianos KO of Walcott, Sugar Ray's left hook, Larry Holmes's jab etc etc etc.
To me, 'great' is something that resounds through the ages, which will be talked about for generations, not some footballer knocking in a cross that happens to land in the penalty area (for example)
Anywho, that's my two pence worth.
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
