Golota at his best was pretty solid.

I would think Morrison would fatigue at the wrong time and get Koed . however the first few rounds Tommy would have a good chance. Morrison was pretty quick from the gate. and Golata was there to be hit.

Golota was very good for a while, but to be fair I think Bowe was pretty much shot by the time he faced Golota, the Holyfield wars had ruined him. So people think this would look like the Lewis fight or the Lamon Brewster fight huh? Maybe.

Bowe was done when he faced Golota and Andrew got a lot of mileage of those two losses...If you look at Golta's career his best victory was against Danell Nicholson or an ancient Tim Witherspoon other than that it was always a loss when he stepped up...I remember the Samson P'uha fight where he was knocked so senseless by the 300+ pounder that he bit Samson in the clinch...The only reason Golta won that fight was P'uha couldn't even lift his hands by the fifth round...Golota was never a big hitter, that was just a myth the Riddick Bowe fights created.

Tommy on the other hand was an enigma in that he did beat some good fighters convincingly; Ruddock, Foreman, Tillis, Hipp(with a broken jaw and hand), Thomas, but lost spectacularly to Bennt, Mercer and Lewis...

Seriously though this is a win for Morrison; Golota didn't move well enough to keep Tommy off of him alla Bennt or Lewis and Golota could NEVER weather the storm that Mercer did to come back in that fight. Also Tommy Morrison learned a lot from the Mercer fight and never came into a fight without the proper cardio again which becomes obvious when you look at his wins against Foreman, Hipp and Williams...I see Morrison winning early/late/ko or decision anyway it comes Golota folds...

Hard not to see Morrison landing that lethal left hook and Golota folding like he always did under pressure.

Morrison was chinny, but he had a lot of heart. Golota was a shameful quitter and mental midget.

Golota on points, but the judges would rob him blind!

Golota would stop Morrison inside 5 rounds

Saw this thread just now n forgot that I was the one who started it! Lol

Before seeing opening it, my thought was Tommy would win.

Funny how opinions change. Golota nearly always found a way to lose.

Morrison was much more of a winner and a talent.
