Yall are missing the entire point of this thread. I'm not saying the fight is garbage, I'm saying that the fight isn't that important and it doesn't belong on PPV. Yall defending a fight like this being on PPV is what's allowing boxers to demand ridiculous numbers. Fights like this should be on regular HBO. IMO, fights like Cotto-Judah should be on regular TV. Look at JT-Winky I, that fight was probably a borderline PPV fight but HBO made sure that the fight made it to regular HBO. When fights are doing under 300,000 buys that means that they probably don't belong on PPV. Boxing has blurred the lines on what is truly a PPV and what is not. The fans need to redefine the lines. Mayweather-De La Hoya is a PPV. Calzaghe-Kessler is a PPV. Peter-Klitschko is a PPV. Mayweather-Mosley is a PPV. Mayweather-Hatton is a PPV. A fight should be on PPV if it's gonna be a great action packed fight between two champions or popular fighters or if the stakes are really high.
