Not enough afro hairdos in the fight game these days. It adds the appearance of height and helps to intimidate your opponent. On the inside it would hide outgoing uppercuts until the moment of impact and act as a pillow between rounds when your exhausted and need to rest your head on the corner post.
they retain too much water....every time the fighter would get hit huge sprays of water/sweat would take off flying from the fro.......even the smallest punches would look like monster power shots.....
