It's the fight we want, but it's not the fight Joe wants, and it suggests to me that he thinks he'd lose, which is why he won't take the fight now.
I'm not surprised that when there were a lot of threads on here about speculation regarding the possibility of a fight against Kessler a lot of people were saying he should be going after a fight with Taylor...and now it looks like the Taylor fight might be possible, people are saying he should be fighting Kessler.

Maybe a royal-rumble might be in order, or a 3-way KO slugfest?

Seriously though, you can't please everyone but it has to be one or the other. A Sakio Bika rematch, for example, or his mandatory with Dennis Inkin, would not cut the mustard for his fans, and even more for the critics.
