Video For Taeth Who Thought Mayweather Was More Polished Than Jones

I'm not sure how these videos disprove anyone who said that Mayweather is more polished than Jones, because Floyd IS more polished than Jones.

Jones was a great fighter, but he wasn't textbook by any means, he did a lot of things that you would never teach a young fighter. He was so talented that he could get away with unorthodox technique.

Floyd is a classically trained boxer. Doesn't mean he's better than Roy was, just that he does things more by the book.

We are talking about when they both were just starting out and Jones had good jab good handspeed good power great reactions yes he was bit unorthdox but that doesn't mean he was any less polished than Floyd was when he was starting out.

Like I said Mayweather was technically better than Roy when they were younger, and has always been technically better than Roy. Roy didn't use his jab all that much, and he never landed it all that stiff... Floyd easily had the better jab. He also had better defense, sharper punches.

He may of had better jab but he no way had sharper punches than Roy and yes Maybe he did have better defense because but it was different type of defense than Roy but i watched both men and i thought wow when watching Roy i didn't get that when i watched Mayweather when watching them at that point in there careers.
