I'll be cooking on the grill, drinking beer and staying away from Cape Cod. Seriously, how many people on this site remember when Memorial Day was called Decoration Day because flags were, and still are, placed on the graves of the veterans. Before I start to party, I will visit my Dad's grave. He fought in WWII and was in the Battle of the Bulge and on a troop ship that was sunk in the English Channel. Sure, it's the unofficial start of the summer, but we must never forget the real reason for this day of rememberance.

Canada had its long weekend last weekend... We always seem to be either a week behind or ahead of the Americans with our holidays... I guess at least it gives us a chance to visit eachothers countries... I love going to the states (provided our dollar isn't too low) and I used to live in Hawaii, as well as Guam and Siapan - which are US protecorates I believe.
interesting bro and CC for the information!

i love canada chicks, hawaii chicks and guam chicks all fine asss honeys to me

CC back bro. There are some places in Canada you would like to avoid if you want to see attractive women... I suggest staying away from the province of Alberta completely
But here on the west coast its like the L.A. of Canada.

CC Canvas, that's pure class man, up here we have our Rememberance day on Nov. 11 (do they have that in the US?) and there's always a HUGE turn out at all the ceremonies... Lest We Forget.
God bless your father and what he fought for... Members of my family fought for the Canadian's in WW2, I got a tat. to commemerate the terrible sacrificies that were necessary in that war.

That's cool man, Van's a great city... just try to avoid the East Hastings area, unless you're into rock smoking or being jacked for whatever you have, then I guess I'd recommend it
If you get the chance you should catch the ferry over to Vancouver Island, its pretty nice over here, lots of fine university chicks.

CC my good man well put !

Last year we got so wound up over here ( England) over the world that we completely forgot about VE day !
I only realised when Paul O'grady did a very classy tribute on his show it was quality .
I mentioned it to my Dad who's as conservative as they come and he put it in a way i never could !

' it's always better to have something too look forward to rather than look back but never forget '

He was right ! Nobody should ever forget their sacrafice .

Ill be opening the batting at our local rivals , think i should go out and get truly bladdered though , last time i got pissed the night before i made my best score of 66 not out since then I've been bang out of touch .

Its our local Rivals , they do a blinding spread can't wait .

I got one of my boys coming up from Miami for the long weekend so I'm sure we will be BBQing on the beach (since I live about from the Gulf) drinking some beers and hollering at some dimes. Probably hit this place called Shepards on Clearwater Beach, its where everyone goes during the day and its crawling with hot woman in bakinis so I'll definately be there, and I'll probably be taking one of those girls home with me lol. And I'm not sure what else, I usually just wing and go with flow. But I'm sure it will be fun. I hope everyone has a good long weekend and be safe.
