everytime we have a debate over pac, a lot of people say that the fighters that he fought are all washed up down the hill or overrated or unknown. why is it that when he fights, a lot of people doubt him. but if he wins people discredit what he does. IMO it dont matter who you fight, washed up old fighters or young up and coming or even prime, if you win in the same fashion and you bring people out of their chair in excitement you should get credit. heck, i think he should get credit for not being booed in a fight. but thats just me and my "bias" assessment.. what do you guys think?
I like Pac, and think he is good for boxing. One of the most exciting fighters out there. He's in the top three p4p, so he gets the credit he deserves. Most fighters get hacked on, for people they didn't look good against, or who they didn't fight, or "he beat that guy when he was old". Hell, every Floyd thread, you bash him into oblivion. Pac is one of the best right now, regardless, and noone can take that away from him.

i only bash floyd coz he doesnt fight the way he was that made him famous. his opponents was handpicked for him and i dont have any problem with that coz he should be able to demolish them without any problem. but the way he fought baldo, thats something that pissed me off. he had everything and baldo only had the punching power yet he spent that night on the run rather than putting a show. now with the odlh fight, he said that this crap yet he didnt deliver anything. i know its all talk but come on now man. how would you feel if pac said hes gonna kick a$$ and then come to fight like mayweather did? i know i would be pissed and ill bash him too.
Floyd put on a boxing clinic in the Baldo fight, he just couldn't knock him out. Baldo does naturally outweigh floyd by about 30 lbs, and has a good chin, in Floyd's defense. But Baldomir was busted up all over the place. As far as the Oscar fight, we all knew Floyd wouldn't go for the KO, but he stood his ground and won, but it wasn't a "Massacre".
I do agree with what you're saying about Floyd's statements though. Alot of it is to hype the fights, but I'd rather him be real and say" I'm gonna put on a clinic", or "I'm gonna give him a boxing lesson", or even "This will only be a sparring session for me", that would be more real than "It's gonna be a massacre". I don't buy into that much though, because we know what he's gonna do.
If Pac moved up in weight, and couldn't knock a bigger man out, but did what he had to do to win, regardless of what he said, I would'nt bash him. He still won.
