Why does getting knocked out in MMA seem a lot less critical than someone getting knocked out in boxing?

It's like if a boxer get's knocked out, it's a pretty big deal but if a MMA's get's knocked out it's like oh well shiet like this happens.

I guess it's because the gloves are way smaller so defense is harder, plus gloves are lighter so hit harder.

If a goalkeeper was defending a 7 ft wide goal he would be expected to make more sures if the ball was bigger, or if the ball was the same size but the goal posts were only 3 ft across

and of course there's also the small fact that in boxing if you knock someone down you can't follow it up with a nice foot stomp to the head
