Hear me out England fans, the national team is a HUGE deal but when you have the hopes and dreams of Professional Soccer in America resting on your shoulders it's a bigger deal than just 1 team. Besides with all the bullshit talked about Becks being past his best I would figure you guys would like to bring in some younger talent
Lyle, England are in danger of not qualifying for a major tournament. That is a national disaster of catastrophic proportions. American soccer may have more riding on that but I am pretty sure even Beckham with all money on offer in USA will put the English national team first.

For probably first time since I been following football England - ON PAPER , AND IF EVERYONES FIT ! - have one of if not THE best team in the world. Unfortunately the lazy arse multi millionaire footballers these days think they're bigger than the national team and can just turn up to play. They don't give a shit how they play and the passion of playing for your country seems non-existent

I think the best thing that can happen is that we play pathetic football again and scrape a 1-0 win over Estonia next week via a penalty oran own goal. That way we are still on course to qualify but they still get slaughtered by the fans and press and Mclaren is forced to go giving us time to get a replacement in before the next qualifiers - Steve Coppell anyone ??
