The post Phillips Tszyu from 1998-2002 was unbeatable and if you are talking that era then i'd pick KT against Floyd too!!
Kostya was far from unbeatable thats quite a statement you made there and he has a shot against Mayweather because we all know timing is the key to beat speed but Mayweather also has good defense so in that case i find it hard for Kostya to land his big bombs on Mayweather.
It's a big statement i know but i keep looking at his fights against Gonzalez who at the time had only lost to DLH and his fight with Hurtado and he destroyed them both. Remember that Judah at the time was everyone's P4P pick in 2001 and he was going to carve through KT's defense like swiss cheese!
I also think that Sugar Shane gave Tszyu a wide berth in those years and that was a wise decision.
I agree Floyd would have been hard to hit but if anyone could have done it then KT was the man.
Hurtado isn't good fight to mention because that fight made Kostya looked beatable he was dropped twice and hurt by someone who wasn't really known as puncher.
Hurtado had 25 KO's in 38 wins, not bad! KT was definately not hurt and was off balance with one of them and i dispute the other knockdown. Still it was a fight that was bound to have mistakes the way they went at it. Hurtado had Whitaker down too!
