i love them both. growing up in Easton, you can't help but love boxing. but what i love about MMA besides the knockouts is that the company makes the fights. no promoters, management, or networks to get in the way. the best will always fight the best competition. there's no ducking or hiding behind contract negociations. MMA isn't for everyone but to criticize it because you don't understand it completely or because it's becoming a little threat to the sport of boxing is just pure ignorance. i will always love boxing but it has dug itself in a deep hole with all the corruption that the powers that be refuse to address and get rid of. MMA puts a lot of money into promoting its sport and making sure the fighters never become bigger than the sport itself. giving the fans the best matchups is their priorty. there are a lot of things like this boxing really needs to copy because that 18-35 male demographic that they use to dominate is slowly moving away towards MMA. boxing has only itself to blame and trashing MMA isn't going to change that.Originally Posted by Hulk
