Will UFC take over from boxing

Im from Australia and UFC means nothing here, yet a big boxing match is still major news. Boxing is underthreat in the US but almost everywhere else it is massively more popular than UFC which is seen as a side act like wwe. Thats why boxing will survive.

not only did the MMA bring in more money from PPV's last year in the U.S but also in Asia and Europe. not to bad for a "side act"...lol.

Proof of this please. Name a UFC fighter who is bigger than Pac in asia. Or a UFC fighter that is bigger than Calzaghe or Hatton in Britain. Or a Ufc fighter that is bigger than the Klitschko's in Europe. Good luck.
