I probably wouldn't assume she's taken any roids but i do think she's probably got an above average genetic capacity to have a strong build. It's not the legs that get me it's her biceps - I think a lot of women will have thighs naturally but arms are harder to build for a woman.

Having said that I don't personally know many women who compete as boxers in her weight class.

For some reason most Australian female boxers seem to be bantamweights and featherweights. Strange because I'm still on the small size for a female here.

I would say that you would at least need a 60 pound weight glide.Manny Pac would eat up Layla Ali inside a round.

That's like saying i couldn't beat up a male child - which is crap - Don't you think it kinda more of a proportional thing than a set weight?

I'd never hit a child - just thought I needed to make that really clear.

I just think that 60 pounds is a lot more of a handicap if the starting weight is smaller.

a child that is 5-8 weights 120 isn't going to have the same power as a 5-8 man that weighs the same...the muscles maturity is a big part in that..so yeah about sixty..i would go so far as to say 100..

i think the male bantam and straw weight fighters would stop laila through accumulation of punishment or even a one punch kayo...

uh? They didn't play by the same rules.. He was really old and they gave her special rules. She wouldn't have beat him if the rules were not in her favour. She would have gotten her a*** kicked by a middle aged man.
OK, OK - but my point that I could not see why a better woman boxer would not beat a worse male boxer still stands. Unless we are saying that not a single female boxer could beat any single male boxer? (and if we are saying that, therefore we are saying is it because they are female rather than because they are not currently good enough?)

i'm saying it because there isn't a female boxer whose skills are exceptional enough to beat a real male boxer unless he is significantly smaller than her..and if she's given the luxury of a huge weight advantage then that's the same as the billie jean king thing...special rules..no woman boxer will ever be able to beat any male boxer of any caliber that weighs the same as her..in tennis bille jean king didn;t have riggs hitting her...BTW (laila ali looks like trash when she fights) and if she's considered to be one of the best female boxers it took her four rounds to beat a woman 20 pounds smaller than her imagine what a man would do to her....
