RIP Marquise Hill

The body of New England Patriots player Marquise Hill was found Monday, a day after he was reported missing following a jet ski accident on Lake Pontchartrain.

Jet skis aren't to be messed around with. I was on a waverunner all day yesterday just in the lake, and one time I hit a boat wake and popped up and nearly came completely off the thing, the heart skipped a couple beats. RIP.

Well for the most part if your at the designed speed thats posted you'll be OK but the second you get brave and rav it up about 5 to 10 more mph it really does make a difference.....
And when you hit the water it's not as soft as it might appear your gonna hit and your gonna hit hard....
I ate sh*t! once about 3 years ago at Lake Perris in a jet ski I was hurtin' the whole fwocken day onto the next. I caught a boat wake myself with the side not straight on and I I was going faster then the posted limit and I just flew off the ski like a rag doll that shit! hurt like a mutha....

The only posted limits here are 5 MPH signs by the shore. Otherwise no speed limits. The lake usually doesn't have much traffic (Clearlake) but I was coming around a bend and a boat was heading the otherway, I looked at the boat then hit the wake before I realized my stomach was eating the handlebars.

But yeah, once you go a little bit faster then a steady speed, you start to lose control.
