Boxers don't usually have the best physiques but they look "in shape"....as for the protruding gut, perhaps HGH, it makes your internal organs grow and you can see it's effects on body builders especially.

Liddell is a light heavyweight, in boxing that's 175....in UFC that's 205

I never saw RJJ or Hopkins or anyone but James Toney have a gut like that for a top level fight....maybe De la Hoya vs Sturm but he got in better shape his next fight
why is that the issue? Simple matter of jargon and the number of weight classes in each respective sport
