Great fighters who have lost for the first time and comeback just as good as before include Duran,
Tszyu, Ali, Olivares, Leonard, Hearns, Robinson, Whitaker just to name a few. Of course they were great fighters, I doubt Naz ever was!
To be honest with you mate, after 9/11 there was no way he was going to continue fighting and shouting 'Allah' during his ringwalk. I do wish he came back but he would have had to stop all that stuff, just do his dancing and flip over the rope, I loved that S*** I gotta admit it. It was good to watch.

It's too late for him now, especially being so big for such a short guy. I bet his stomach has a better reach than his arms these days.
I think you are right about the 9/11 thing, he was going to find it very difficult in the US after that. I loved all the entertainment stuff as well, he should have comeback and fought Barrera again or Morales.
Oh yeah, he should have tried for a rematch and actually TRAIN for it instead of looking for that knockout punch he ended up depending on. Saying he took Barrera lightly is a massive understatement.

For Hamed to came back at this stage is extremely unlikely. It is so unlikely I am willing to stake the small finger on my right hand on it.

He has money, and obviously is lacking the desire to make any serious attempt at a comeback beyond the lame comments he has occasionally issued...

The funny thing is, if Naz was a Heavyweight, you wouldn't rule out his return based on the comebacks of so many older fighters these days. To be honest, seeing how fat he's gotten, he could prob make Heavyweight.

I think that asking Naz to be a heavyweight, in seriousness would be crazy....with him at slight over five foot four inches tall, I reckon if he had a WBA heavyweight title eliminator with Nikolay Valuev would have to be the biggest height difference between fighters ever. Although Naz looks to be overweight, I reckon he walks around somewhere between Light Heavy and Cruiserweight. Who knows...he could slim down and be the next opponent for Joe Calzaghe

Yup, but the image of Naz v Valuev was one that I felt it was vital to share.

No but every six months to a year since his last fight he (or anonymous web bloggers perporting to be him) announces his comeback plans. Notice that I do point out we are not sure it is him.......Jody
