I remember Benn saying he wanted a larger purse so he could give Gerald Mcclellan a million. He also wanted him to come to London. Shame it never came off - as good as Roy was and as vulnerable as Benn's chin was I really think Nigel would have had a chance against Roy.

Benn was a true people's fighter - I look back on his record and tend to disregard his two defeats (retirments) to Collins and his loss to the 'awkward' Malinga.

Never understood why a third Eubank fight didn't take place mind ?!? They still had unfinished business after the draw and could have sold Old Trafford out again and raked it in . Why didn't they ??
