Come on i am fed up of all theses people raving about Tyson, Lennox Lewis was a far far superior boxer than Tyson ever was. I have seen every single Tyson fight (i have them on dvd), i admit they were exciting but this is only because he was beating the crap out of bums. As long as Lennox prepared and took this fight seriously he would win comfortably (the same as every other fight he took seriously, with the exception of the first Hollyfield fight where he was robbed)

Bollocks would he beat a PRIME Tyson comfortably. Maybe, Ice Cold should keep looking for some real debate!!

It took Lewis how many rounds to whip on a shell?! The '88 model Tyson was not willing to be whipped. He was perpetual motion, and his defence was equally his strength. Tyson would overwhelm him or at leas hit the jaw that lesser opponents were able to stop him with...

Ofcourse Tyson had issues with rangy fighters. But he always beat them. Tillis was an early opponent. Tucker was more than a journeyman and was beaten easily by Tyson...

Tucker is a clear example of how PRIME Tyson would beat Lewis actually.

Put the Tucker of '87 and '88 in front of that Lewis and I imagine a very difficult fight for Lewis. Tucker is underrated IMO.

tyson was inactive for 4 years(thats longer than alis exsile) and he fought a total of 8 rds in 4 fights leading up to holyfield and he fought bums that were shit scared. he won all off those fights by scaring his opponents out of there titles, he didnt have to fight for them he simply won them off his mistiuqe.

he was simple not ready for holyfield and took the old warrior lightly to say the least. secondly it was not the tyson off old, if you watch all his fights he became a head-hunter since 89 when he left rooney. he thought his myth was enough to win(hence to douglas ass whoopin).

the tyson from pre-88 would have destroyed douglas by KO and holy by UD.
