This story isn't "an article about mayweather's gloves." it's an article about how each fighter wore the gloves he preferred, and how each set of gloves have different advantages and disadvantages. while the writer thinks this is "an exaggerated freedom," and states without argument that it's "not fair," he doesn't say that in this particular instance it was judah who got the short end of the fairness stick (which is part of why his "not fair" statement is stupid--it's directly contradicted the freedom that he tirades against).
The only conclusion (if it can be called that, given his lack of reasoning or persuasiveness in getting there) is that all boxers should wear the same brand of glove. Consistent with that "conclusion" is the statement "both judah and mayweather should have worn white winning-brand gloves, and neither should have worn black everlast-brand gloves."
it IS hilarious though that some one purporting to be a journalist actually wrote an article on this subject, now that sal's championing of the issue has become a running joke here.
