you too bud. cc. I can see from your other list that you are mostly a hard rock/metal sort of guy. myself I could do without most of that sort of stuff nowadays, though I do like Van Halen's first album, and was into Zeppelin and Sabbath back in the 70's, saw zeppelin in 1975 for the physical graffiti tour.
There's not a whole lot of stuff i like today theres only certain bands that i can listen too. I like a good bit of led zeppelin's songs. Thats awesome you got to go to one of their concerts tho, i'm sure it was a crazy atmosphere. If the original lineup of van halen gets together im gonna be front row regardless of the ticket prices.

I had figured Jet was going to be pretty good based on their first album's success, but alas it hasn't happened, I hope Wolfmother can bring some good rock to the people.

I liked The Darkness while they were around (as "The Darkness", they haven't named their new band yet) but I realize their sound isn't for everyone but they had some REALLY bad ass songs to go along with their pop style songs (which are the ones that are more humorous than anything else).

Here's my favorite hard rock song of their's

Right now, new rock is kind of like the heavyweight division of music, they have some young talent but no one is consistent.
