Avenging a loss is something that CAN make a fighter be considered more highly.

Besides with ANY unification bout put on hold this rematch is better than #1 fighting another mandatory and #2 doing nothing at all

Unknowndonor, Wlad couldn't fight another title holder: WBO: Briggs-Ibragimov just happened, WBC: Peter-Maskaev is scheduled, WBA: Chagaev-Valuev just recently happened as well.

The best Wlad can hope for right now is to beat Brewster easily and then set up a fight with Sultan or Chagaev
The scheduling is what is aggravating. It's not Vlad's fault. It's the merry-go-round of title holders changing, then the sanctioning bodies, granting the mandatories. It just seems like it's never going to happen. Just venting some frustration, that's all. I'm glad that Vlad is tring to avenge his loss.
