Nice.
I think this is a really good match up for JMM (being that the Pac fights not coming off) Barrios brings a prominent name with credibility and is a former Champ.
Let's see what Arum pulls off for Pac?
(Not another Solis let's hope)

I really wanna see Pac fights the youngans Valero or Soto while he's in his prime.
Barrios is o.k. but I would have preferred Marquez to face Valero, Soto or Guzman
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
I don't get why people think Valeros ready for those top guys I personaly think hes not but that's just my opinion.Originally Posted by galaxy76
Soto's only fought twice at Super Feather and neither opponent was of any notice so IMO hes still untested there.
Guzman would have been great BUT he's campaining at Lightweight now.
There is something very anticlimatic about Marquez fighting Barrios. It's just disappointing that Barrera looses and goes on to fight Pacman while Marquez goes on to fight... Barrios!
I'm not saying that Barrera is a joke or the fight is a farce, but can you really see him winning? No matter how tight I squeeze my eyes shut I can't imagine it.
Always on top of things. Soto's one of my fav's. Your talk is scarying me a little. hehOriginally Posted by CutMeMick

Oh man, nice pics too, lookin' smooth![]()
and from the angle of the picture, you look like Barrera's brother.
Wish I were you in those pictures. One of these days I'll go back to seeing fights live again.
Don't get me wrong it's easy to see Sotos skilled when you see him fight BUT you gotta see the quality of opposition I don't think either guy he's beat has been a top ranked fighter.Originally Posted by Gyrokai
Fighting and beating B-Pac won't tell you much either.

Its not a match up that excites me either. The result is fairly predictable. Marquez by decision or late stoppage.Originally Posted by yoitsdan

Barrios' top two profile fights were his stoppage loss to Freitas and his points loss to Guzman in which he was embarrassed . Somehow that qulaifies him for a shot at teh title but then again Morales has lost 3 in a row 2 by k.o yet he gets a shot at the same organisations belt . Just an example of how corrupt the WBC is
Marquez could have atleast gone for the winner Giuzman but he went for the loser Barrios
morales got a shot because of his reputation and what he has brought to the sport, don't compare barrios whom has no ability to mustard a win like morales at any given fight, and the fact that morales beat pac at the first fight gives him the chance of repeating a victory thats why pac and em fought three times.Originally Posted by GAME
But I totally agree, jmm should of fought the winner guzman vs barrios which was guzman makes no sense to fight barrios unless its just a tune up fight but a damn PPV event is total b.S.
If its based on past achievemenst then why hasnt Holyfield automatically got another at the ttitle ? He hasnt been knocked out twice ina row . I just think the WBC is biased and they have favourites .Originally Posted by Julius Rain
Erik cant really call himslef a true 4 weight champion by beating Diaz but thats a different topic . If Barrios somehow won here , what a joke that would be
wow you went off topic with holyfield that is totally different. Is holyfield rematching a fighter he beat in an all out war like pac and em 1Originally Posted by GAME
Is it just months later not years
maybe you don't get what i was saying or you just don't want to get it
No the comparrisson was entirley relevant . Evander has never been knocked out back to back. Plus Eriks got a shot in a higher weight class . What has he done to show he is a contender in that weight division when he got beat in 4 out ofhis last 5 in the weight below . You're a Morales fan so maybe thats why you cannot grasp it.Originally Posted by Julius Rain
