He is way better off the ropes, he doesn't get sloppy defensively, and he maintains his sharpness. I saw Cotto had a lot of trouble with Zab's speed at times, but Zab couldn't maintain a consistant pace offensively. ALso this fight IMO proved that COtto isn't a huge one punch guy who could knock Mayweather. I see Oscar beating Cotto, and I still see Mayweather handing it to Cotto.
I do not think Cotto can beat Mayweather also, but Cotto has that quality where he makes the impossible happen. That is a great quality. But I do think that Mayweather will not give him the opportunity to make anything happen. He will turn Cotto into the same fighter he turns all guys who fight him into which are swarming guys who miss.
