Before we start.
I never felt any improvement doing wrist curls etc.
If you use straps when you deadlift then stop.
ok on to the exercise.
You need a clock with a second hand.
right, get an olympic bar and put two 20k weights either end (40 in total)
The bar needs to rest on something just lower than when you pick it up at arms length
use an overhand grip, just wider than your thighs.
Now lift and hold the bar for 60 seconds.....see that bar rest is for when you grip starts to fail and it slips out your hands it doesn't crash on the floor.
DON'T LEAN BACK or cheat.
when you've done one minute take a rest and do another 60
2x 60 secs at 40k may be easy for you. If so raise the weight.. when you can do two lifts for 60 secs increase the weight.
and that is all
Heavy dumbbell shrugs also work good.
