Its almost impossible to pull off consecutive 100 yard games (his first 160 were all 100 yard games or more). Michael vick was around forever (18 years or some S*** and he still had high running speed for a qb like 75).
I always trade my star players away when they reach 30 years old. I can still get something for them and build for the future.

I started a new franchise with the Vikings and Brad Johnson retured after one season... made me sick. I am in the middle of my third season and I have Patrick Ramsey at QB and Kurt Kittner as a back up...
I usually do too but i've broken every nfl record imagineable with this running back so theres kind of a sentimental thing in keeping him on the roster. I had to trade away and fire alot of the star players i had because (even after i cleared the cap penalties from trades that breached contracts) my teams salary was up near $350,000. You can keep drafting with the first pick all you want to thru trades but if you keep alot opf the guys on your roster it will add up by about year 12. That running back is the only real franchise player i've had on my roster since i started the thing aside from aaron rogers who has a bullshit career ending injury when he was 30.

I'm an option guy myself, so I've always played more NCAA than Madden...I love using Airforce's triple option playbook.

I don't know all the players by heart so I don't enjoy the games as much. I want to know who my WR is or who is sacking my QB. I may as well be playing with a highschool team...

It's why I don't like using certain year teams on Madden.

I always thought it would be cool to play with a NCAA guy and then port him into the Madden game. Has anyone ever done that? Do they have kickass stats their rookie year?

If you watch college football, you know who the guys are besides after your first season you can start to recruit guys with names. It's easier to get players on madden because you can send a bunch of draft picks and on ncaa you're only getting the guy for 4 years. I still like them both tho.

You can import an ncaa college legend for madden 06 for the superstar mode.

And another thing that pisses me off about 06, why does my running backs stamina keep going down? i had to shut off game fatigue because it was becoming unfair. The other running backs had way more carries than mine and their stamina stayed the same meanwhile mines 33 and has 28 stamina. That means he can only run like twice a quarter and if you truck stick someone in the middle of a run he loses all his speed.
