Now then, now then, I can't let that pass now can I. We were world leaders in sheep-shagging Rugby in the 70s and 80s, and both Jimmy Wilde and Tommy Farr were world class boxers, who along with Steve Robinson, who won the WBO featherweight title at 48 hours notice, have represented Wales well on the world stage. And with present company of Maccarinelli, and prospects coming through, I'd reckon Wales is punching very well for the size of country we are.

And I'm bored of defending Calzaghe to people who are too ignorant to read my posts and reply to my points- *columbo*.
Erm, you're Welsh I guess, therefore do I need to treat you as an equal! You already used the terms sheep shaggers and world class in the same sentence! If you had a sheep under each arm, would be you classed as a pimp in Wales? According to you, you would! And who mentioned rugby (small r by the way boyo)? This is a boxing forum, oh wait, I'll discuss quiots or darts, coz apparently we can! Learn to read young man, learn to read! And who manages Maccarinell? Nuff said dullard!
OK, first off, you have a go at me for referring to our main national sport, Rugby, which was specifically answering the point which you made that Wales had not produced anything world standard, and I was giving you an example. Which, by the way, was an answer to the point that I READ from your post. Whether you like Frank Warren or not, (I can guess which), the WBO is generally recognised as the fourth among the big four licensing bodies, and Maccarinelli is the cruiserweight champion. You can make whatever jokes you like about Wales, but at the moment I've seen no logical points put forward by you to dissuade me that your opinion is little more than a dislike of a fighter, rather than a genuine balanced analysis. I dislike James Toney and Floyd Mayweather, but it doesn't stop me from admitting that both were world class at their peak.

My pants are most certainly not happy JT. Indeed, they are positively sleepy pants. Anyhow, I was merely suggesting that that young man needs to be brought down a peg or two, and get his arrogant, egotistical big mouth in check. And I'm happy to lead the posse and round them up.

And as for all the Welsh jokes on the thread, having lived in England for years I've heard em all before. Find me a new one, and you might get me riled .
