I don't want to sound negative here as you guys know that's just not me ( ) but imo most of these guys owe something back to their communites anyways.

All this Oscar nut hugging....man his fans put him where he was. He's been blessed with the most loyal and devoted following who have supported him to the extent that he is the highest paid boxer ever outside the heavyweight division.

Personally I'd be pissed as hell if he wasn't giving something back.

So he gave $1,000,000 to open a hospital. Thats about £500,000. No offense but big F****** deal.

He made over $50,000,000 for his fight with Floyd alone. Despite Floyd being the boxing star, undefeated and p4p number 1 in the sport, Oscar's devoted fan following enabled him to get a $25,000,000 purse for the fight compared to Floyd's $10,000 AND he got 70% of the PPV! Factor in merchandising, sponsership and endorsments and he made enough money to buy some of these poorer nations outright.

$500,000, that's a day out to Oscar.

In reality Oscar don't owe his community a god damn thing. He grew up poor and needed a way out. So he got in a ring and decided to fight his way out. Ain't nobody got in the ring with him. Nobody took any punches with him. Aside from his family nobody bought him any boxing gear or paid his travel costs. So fuck all that bullshit talk that Oscar owe somebody something. He don't owe nobody nothing. The fact that he actually gives something should be appreciated.

I 100% agree with you, he is doing this off his own back and HE is the one who made his cash. Its not like hes a second generation rich kid who had inheritance. There are much richer people who do fuck all to help others in this world.
