Rope a dope,wasnt just absorbing punishment,it was making sure those shots didnt score,and didnt hurt(though Im sure some days Ali's elbows ache from that fight ) and to do it against that brute while the whole time yelling "They told me you hit hard George" and "My grandmother hits harder then that George" is unreal
They should of just hit him on the arms and elbows that would of stopped him doing the rope a dope.
