He just held his arms up and let people pound away at him thats not good inside fighting thats just hoping the other fighter wastes up enough energy so you can take him out later in the fight but if fighter took his time and didn't waste so much energy you would be in big trouble but holding your arms up letting people pound away at you is not good inside fighting and if any trainer see you doing it he would tell you your an idiot more than likely and make you change it in a hurry.
Nope he could clinch as well,thats one fight,not the body of work,he didnt go an entire career without being knocked out by being as one dimmensional as youd like to think
When did i say he was one dimensional ?? he never done it in his early career he done it later in his career and it was bad tactic and if boxer knew how to deal with it properely it wouldn't of worked but it was new then and people were confused by it fair play to Ali for making it work but its a bad tactic imo and no trainer would tell you to use it.
