eubank easily brought that in. he was an a-list in the early 90s and that has carried over and he's certainly made the most of itOriginally Posted by gudnite vienna
from 90 to 94 he was sponsored by the daily mirror and sunday mirror who doubled their sponsorship money in 92 to keep away other sponsors (eubank at the time was never out of the papers or off the telly), in 92 and 93 he was the face of russell athletic
he was on a £ 1m a year deal with itv from dec 90, switched to sky in june 94 on a £ 10m in one year deal
levis and mortal kombat 2 endorsed him in 94
he made £ 1m in the thornton (ticket prices doubled), storey, schommer and collins fights, £ 1.25m in the 2nd close and wharton fights. his other world title defense purses were all in excess of half a million, all through ticket sales alone. he also made £ 2.5m (combined) from his last eight fights
he estimates he did around 600 public workouts with the fee always £ 2.50 and says he made over a million from them alone-all for charity
he's also done adverts for mcdonalds, nescafe and jaffa cakes, launched the sega dreamcast, done alot of modelling for vivienne westwood and versace, had his own radio show, had his own tv show, and says his book made £ 1.5m (sales in the region of 70,000 (at £ 20.99), accoridng to harpercollins). on top of that he's been on the public speaking circuit since 94 and claims to have done more speeches than any other celeb in britain. he also claims to have done more charity auctions than any other sportsman or celeb in britain
he also made some money from the watson fight being shown on his site, but not a great deal at all
