Did it affect the fight last night ?
no
did it make the Hatton produce that devestating body blow?
no

is it illegal to havea band there?
no
did it make 11,000 fans join together in support for there man ?
yes
look y are you all arguing ?
everybody is entitled to an opinion and as long as that opinion isnt there because Castillo lost then why bitch about it?(And that isnt an insult to anyone,i know that some of the ppl who dont like the band are Hatton fans )
if you dont think there should be a band there that is ok to have that opinion
This isnt an american v england row at all
but IMO if you work as a mechanic (for example) and have saved for 4months just to be able to go even if your sitting on the back row with a S*** view of two small ants in a ring that you vagually recognise as the two fighters you should be able to support your man in any legal way
note ... the band isnt illegal
so if it bugs you that much then pen to paper and get writing to whom ever it may concern

I am English and a Ricky Hatton fan but that does not sway what i have said here
if it was against the law i'd see the problem it isnt so i dont and why the big row about it

I really did not think it was that big of a deal myself...

I just expressed that the band during the fight was not needed and not something that should be encouraged du to the fact the next guy will want to take it further....We will have some one wanting his own personal rapper during the fight then we will have someone who will want a guy with a bullhorn screaming out his name during a fight to encouraghe the crowd.....Things get out of hand because the next guy is always trying to out do the other....

Then somewhere someone turned it into a personal insult against Hatton and it just escalated from there into an out of control debate.....
